I started climbing at the age of 10 in East Tennesee. After hiking the AT at age 17, I fell in love with the White Mountains. After a year of working other outdoor education positions, such as teaching outdoor ecology, I started guiding and instructing at IMCS. It was here in North Conway that I cut my teeth on hard scary trad routes. Since then I have started a climbing school in El Potrero Chico, a winter rock climbing destination in Northern Mexico.
